Kill The Thrill announce new album ‘Autophagie’

KILL THE THRILL have announced a new album!

Titled Autophagie, the upcoming album from the French industrial metal/post-punk band is the long-awaited follow-up to 2005’s Tellurique, and is scheduled to be released in January next year, via Season Of Mist.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Capitan.

Speaking about the new song and its accompanying music video, the band says, Capitan is an inhabited vessel, engulfed by reality, on its way to its own shipwreck. It is not a shipwreck conceived as divine punishment, but as an almost beneficent fate for what finds no place in the company of men. The cycle swallows everything and spits it out, the simulacra, the organic and the inert. The clip was edited as a narrative, with each image forming part of the allegory. An allegory of earthly and temporary paradises.”
