Korpiklaani announce new album ‘Jylhä’

KORPIKLAANI have announced a brand new album!

Titled Jylhä, the upcoming album from the Finnish folk metal band is the follow-up to 2018’s Kulkija and is scheduled to be released in February next year, via Nuclear Blast Records.

Speaking about the upcoming album, vocalist Jonne Järvelä says, “Jylhä is not just a battering heavy metal record, it’s also our most volatile full-length album to date. For example, some of the new songs feature energetic punk rock influences and there are even some audible laid-back reggae-rhythms, like our first single, Leväluhta.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for the first single lifted from the upcoming album; Leväluhta.
