LIVE REVIEW: Our Hollow, Our Home @ Boston Music Room, London

Sunday night gigs aren’t often the ones to make headlines, however OUR HOLLOW, OUR HOME wrapped off the In Moment // In Memory tour with a memorable sold out London show at the Boston Music Room.

First on to the stage are THE UNCHARTED and it’s good to see a decent sized crowd already in attendance for their stage time. The openers have a few diehard fans in the crowd and they’re even rewarded with a lone crowdsurfer who’s carried all the way over to the bar and back (priorities, right?). With “move your head” riffs and stratospheric clean vocals-a-plenty, THE UNCHARTED are a solid start to an otherwise stacked lineup.

THECITYISOURS prove popular in their own right on this stage. Opening with recent single Casket, the group are greeted by a fervent audience – the five-piece tear through their set as a force to be reckoned with. Veins and Can’t Forgive are received by a rapturous sea of people – if this show is anything to go by, big things are still on the way for these guys.

LOCK & KEY‘s first show for three years had them return from the ashes for a set that saw material both new and old; from the first EP The Divide all the way up to the new single Changes – the comeback show brought out the old fans and probably earned them a few fresh recruits. Heads rocked, bodies flailed – hardcore ain’t dead yet.

OUR HOLLOW, OUR HOME – where to start? The In Moment // In Memory tour came to an end with the room full, the vibes high and surrounded by friends. Tonight’s set kept things up-to-date only consisting of material from the new record and a few tracks off Hartsick, alas nothing from the Redefine EP. Circle pits erupt during Wraiths, Worms Wood and Karmadillo whilst Speak of Sorrow saw what seemed like the entire lineup on stage at once singing the group vocals, jumping into the crowd and giving those in attendance something to really remember.
