Magnum announce new album ‘Here Comes The Rain’

MAGNUM have announced a new album!

Titled Here Comes The Rain, the upcoming album from the veteran British hard rock band is the follow-up to last year’s The Monster Roars, and is scheduled to be released in January next year, via SPV/Steamhammer.

The album’s  artwork again is designed by the great Rodney Matthews, who has already created a number of MAGNUM sleeves. Guitarist/vocalist Tony Clarkin says, “the back of the cover features a kind of avian battalion in attack mode, which I think is a great allegory!”

The upcoming album intends to see the current line-up – consisting of vocalist Bob Catley, Clarkin, keyboardist Rick Benton, bassist Dennis Ward and drummer Lee Morris – once again succeed in creating an outstandingly colourful, varied and inspired new studio album. “Everyone played their part without me dictating anything,” Clarkin enthuses, “everyone just instinctively played what their inspiration told them.”
