Mantra release new music video for ‘Run Away’

MANTRA have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Run Away, is taken from the band’s debut album Dreamland which is scheduled to be released in February next year.

The track is produced by Tom Dalgety (ROYAL BLOOD, GHOST, PIXIES) and speaking about the track, vocalist Simon Stark says, “we filmed the video for Run Away at two in the morning in a field in Milton Keynes. It was at the end of a four day shoot filming three music videos in one go! The track has an undercurrent of low grade malaise running through the lyrics, mirroring the tension in the verse, and thematically explores self-esteem growing up during the austerity years. It’s is another track that Tom Dalgety really helped to shape, he had great ideas on how to get the chorus to stand out. When I was writing it, I wanted to play with the dynamics in the verse using stabs of distortion within the tension of that Jaws style riff, so the listener is kept on their toes.”

Dreamland is set for release on February 15th via Dine Alone Records.
