Maybeshewill announce new album ‘No Feeling Is Final’

MAYBESHEWILL have announced a new album!

Titled No Feeling Is Final, the upcoming album from the post-rock band is the long-awaited follow-up to 2014’s Fair Youth, and is scheduled to be released in November this year, via Robot Needs Home Collective. The release of the album comes ahead of the band’s special one-off show in London in December.

The upcoming album was once again recorded and produced by bassist Jamie Ward and intends to be a message of hope and solidarity. It’s a story of growing grassroots movements across the world that are rejecting the doomed futures being sold to us, and imagining new realities based on equality and sustainability. It’s a reckoning with the demons in our histories and a promise to right the wrongs of the past.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for the first song lifted from the upcoming album; Refuturing. The new music video was directed by Fraser West.

Speaking about the new song and its accompanying music vide, guitarist Robin Southby says, “conceptually, Refuturing (and the album as a whole) is concerned with the existential dread surrounding the climate crisis, how we understand our complicity in the crisis within the confines of our current morality system and ‘refuturing’ – rejecting existing power structures used to subjugate, and reimagining a future built on entirely new systems that are sustainable and beneficial to all.”
