WORDS: Tom Wakenell
Norwegian black metal legends MAYHEM have been announced as Friday’s headliner at Temples Festival in Bristol.
The band, whose career has spanned over three decades will be performing their debut record De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas in its entirety for the first time ever in the UK.
MAYHEM will join MELVINS and CARCASS as the weekend’s headliners.
As well as MAYHEM’s monumental announcement, Temples Festival are proud to announce that US grindcore act AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED will be performing for the very first time in the UK on the Saturday.
MAYHEM and AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED will be joined by the likes of URFAUST, MGLA, THE RUINS OF BEVEAST, REVENGE, ESOTERIC, CHAOS UK, PISSGRAVE and many more across the four day festival in June.
Unfortunately, both ACID AND KING and INTER ARMA have cancelled their performances but have been replaced with GRAVE, THE FLEX and WINDS OF GENOCIDE.
In addition to the incredible line-up, Temples Festival have pleaded that this will be the best festival yet in its three-year existence, with a new layout, more caterers, a dedicated merchandise room and a high quality of audience friendly attention.
Tickets are still available from www.templesfestival.co.uk/tickets for the event which takes place at Motion between the 2nd and 5th June.
