Me And That Man announce new album ‘New Man, New Songs, Same Shit, Vol.2’
ME AND THAT MAN have announced a new album!
Titled New Man, New Songs, Same Shit, Vol.2, the upcoming album from Nergal’s enigmatic blackened blues project is the follow-up to 2020’s New Man, New Songs, Same Shit, Vol.1, and is scheduled to be released in November this year, via Napalm Records.
Akin to the previous outing, the upcoming album features a plethora of guests including Devin Townsend, Myrkur, Randy Blythe, Alissa White-Gluz, Olve Abbath Eikemo, Gary Holt, David Vincent and more.
Speaking about the upcoming album, Adam ‘Nergal’ Darski tells us, “here we go again, mother lovers! New Man, New Songs, Same Shit, Volume 2. You guys know the drill, I recruited the best of the best in heavy music to collaborate on some unique tracks me and the Polish, Italian and Ukrainian crew have been working on over the last 18 months. Once again, the result, amazing and the performances, inspired! Thank you, Comrades – Abbath, Alissa, Amalie, Anders, Blaze, Chris G, Chris H, David, Devin, Douglas, Frank, Gary, Hank, Jeff, Kris, M.Goore, Michale, Ralf and Randy. Who knows when we’ll get together to play these songs, but I will try my best to make it happen! Enjoy it everyone!”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for the first song lifted from the upcoming release; Got Your Tongue. The new song features a guest contribution from Chris Georgiadis of TURBOWOLF.
