Misery Loves Company Festival announce 10 new bands

Misery Loves Company Festival have announced 10 new bands for this year’s festival!

Following a successful debut last year, now, the Bristol-based multi-venue festival have announced the first ten bands for this year’s festival, which will take place at SWX and The Station in Bristol this September.

Leading the charge in the first announcement is indie rockers THE HUNNA, whilst EMPLOYED TO SERVEBLACKGOLD, and DEATH GOALS will all perform across the festival! Also confirmed is EVERY HELLGEN AND THE DEGENERATESKNIVESNORTH ATLAS and SAINT AGNES.

Improving diversity and tackling gender equality in the music industry is a major part of Misery Loves Company‘s mission. The 2023 lineup proudly boasted 52% of the acts having female and/or non-binary members, and over 50% of the acts will do so at the 2024 festival.

Raising awareness around mental health issues is a major part of the ethos. Misery Loves Company has once again partnered with Heads Above The Waves, a non-profit that raises awareness of depression and self-harm in young people. Heads Above The Waves comments, “we’re so excited to get to team up with the Misery Loves Company gang again this year to continue to build on the foundation of last years event. There’s already some great plans coming together, and we’re so stoked that MLC has wellbeing at its very core. We’re all on the same page in that regard, and we’re looking forward to bringing an event together that’s going to help everyone from artists to the audience find healthy ways to keep their heads above the waves.”
