Miss Vincent release new music video for ‘Cold Hands’
South Coast punks MISS VINCENT have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track Cold Hands, is taken from the band’s upcoming EP Somewhere Else which is set to be released later in May. Speaking about the new video, vocalist Alex Marshall says, “this video was a lot of fun to make. The whole thing is shot from one static angle, which is a nod to THE RAMONES’ I Wanna Be Sedated video and older styles of film making. We found this amazing place that looked like it hadn’t been touched since the 50s, with a really cool vintage vibe to it, and we changed almost nothing about the room to film in it. The song is about the almost addictive nature of sadness, how it can become a habit rather than a reaction, and we wanted to translate that as succinctly as possible into the video. We wanted to get across that feeling of being stuck in a rut, but also the ways to get out of it. We stuck a load of references to our favourite things too – from films like Forrest Gump, The Room, The Shining, (and even Spinal Tap), to books and graphic novels. Oh, and my cat Vincent is in it, and he totally steals the show.”
