Mortem announce new album ‘Mørketid’

MORTEM have announced a brand new album!

Titled Mørketid, the upcoming release from the Norwegian cult black metal band is set to drop on July 3rd via Peaceville Records. The album marks the follow-up to 2019’s Ravnsvart and continues the band’s legacy as one of the earliest progenitors of the Norwegian black metal scene, with members who have gone on to perform in ARCTURUS, THORNS, MAYHEM, and 1349.

Blending brooding, mid-paced, monolithic riffs with bursts of blistering black metal intensity, Mørketid showcases eight tracks of savage and atmospheric extremity, featuring contributions from Sverd on keyboards, Hellhammer behind the kit, and the ferocious vocals of Marius Vold.
