Negative Frame announce debut album ‘Break The Ice’

NEGATIVE FRAME have announced their debut album!

Titled Break The Ice, the upcoming release from the London-based metallic hardcore band is set for release on August 7th via Bloodblast. The record marks the band’s debut full-length album and sees the North London five-piece exploring themes of loss, pain, isolation, addiction, and personal struggle, drawing on the experiences that have shaped them since forming in 2017.

Speaking about the album, the band shares, “whatever you do in this world with your life it will keep spinning and we will all be dust soon enough, don’t live a life of hate and expect the world to give you anything other than what you’ve put into it. Let go of the pain.”

Alongside the announcement, the band have released the new single, Cut Throat. The new song is the third single to be released from the upcoming debut album, following on from New Lows and Sorrow & Solitude. Inspired by the loss of vocalist Kesari Gorin’s best friend Charlie and his fiancée Zaiga, the track serves as a tribute to both.

Speaking about the song, Gorin shares, “hostility, grief, denial and anger are the cold realities of life. Through the years, anger turns to empathy and denial turns to acceptance. No matter how long someone close has been gone they’re always by your side in life and in death. Rest in peace.”
