Nicotine Dolls release new music video for ‘Here To California’
NICOTINE DOLLS have released a new music video!
The New York City rock outfit have unveiled Here To California, the latest single to be taken from their upcoming self-titled sophomore album, which is scheduled for release on October 23rd via BMG. The new record follows the band’s debut album, An Attempt At Romantic, and marks their first release since signing with the label.
Written while working with legendary songwriter Desmond Child (AEROSMITH, JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS), the track explores the desire to escape a troubled relationship by chasing an idealised version of California. Originally titled Waiting For California, the song is paired with a video filmed across Los Angeles, from Laurel Canyon to Santa Monica Beach.

Speaking about the band’s forthcoming album, frontman Sam Cieri shares, “I’d always wanted to make a record like the one we ended up with, but never had the right band to pull it off. Somehow, everything came together and it felt like magic. That’s why it’s self-titled. To me, it’s the first real NICOTINE DOLLS record.” He adds, “when we finished the record, I cried. I’d never had that happen before. I believe in our band, and this is the closest I’ve ever come to making the record I always knew we could make.”
