Nightwish re-sign with Nuclear Blast Records

NIGHTWISH have re-signed with Nuclear Blast Records!

Beginning in 2004 with the release of Once, the Finnish symphonic metal giants have worked closely with the metal label to reaffirm their status as one of the world’s biggest metal bands and now, the band have re-signed with the label.

The label will release the band’s next album (the follow-up to 2020’s Human. :II: Nature.) in due course. More information on the band’s next album will be unveiled as and when we receive the news.

Speaking about re-signing with Nuclear Blast, keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen says, “20 years ago our journey together with Nuclear Blast started, and the time has now come to renew our vows. Superbly excited to see what kind of magic we can cook up together this time!”

Nuclear Blast Manager Director Marcus Hammer adds, “it’s an honour to renew this partnership to continue writing music history. We’re more than proud to carry on the collaboration with this exceptionally gifted group of musicians and their management team. Thanks for your friendship and trust, Floor, Tuomas, Emppu, Troy, Kai and Jukkis. Looking forward to celebrate your upcoming album and everything beyond! Kiitos!”
