Northlane announce new album ‘Anemoia’
NORTHLANE have announced a brand new album!
The Australian metalcore outfit have revealed their seventh studio album, Anemoia, which is scheduled for release on October 30th via Independent/Immortal Music Group. The upcoming record is the follow-up to 2022’s Obsidian and features the previously released single Evian.
Speaking about the album, vocalist Marcus Bridge shares, “there’s darkness here, but it’s not nihilism – and there’s hope, but it’s not naivety.”
To coincide with the announcement, the band have also unveiled a music video for CUT_it, the second single to be taken from the upcoming record. Speaking about the new single, Bridge adds, “CUT_it is about burnout – the feeling of grinding through things when you’re completely spent, mentally and physically. The imagery is deliberately visceral, painting a picture of that exhaustion rather than analysing it.”
