Oakenthrone release new music video for ‘A Vigil Under Sol’

OAKENTHRONE have released a new music video!

The new single, A Vigil Under Sol, is taken from the Manchester atmospheric black metal band’s upcoming debut album, Ad Silvam, which is scheduled for release on November 27th via Vendetta Records. The track follows the previously released Monolith and offers another glimpse into the band’s first full-length record.

Speaking about the new single, band mastermind Simon Nagington says, “A Vigil Under Sol is a conceptual piece on the discovery of a decaying god from the eyes of a mortal man. Driven to stupor, a sacrifice is made atop the highest peak under the sun to restart the cycle of divinity. But man, beast or god, we are all destined to return to the soil.”

The accompanying video was created by Smara Kand, who previously collaborated with the band on the video for “Embers Of Reverie“.
