Oranssi Pazuzu announce new album ‘Mestarin kynsi’

ORANSSI PAZUZU have announced a new album!

Titled Mestarin kynsi, the upcoming album from the Finnish black metal oddballs is their fifth full-length effort and is scheduled to be released in April this year, via Nuclear Blast Records.

On the upcoming album, the doors of perception are not only evoked but off their hinges. Working again with their co-producer Julius Mauranen, who also helped craft their acclaimed 2018 Roadburn Festival commissioned, WASTE OF SPACE ORCHESTRA collaboration live show/album Syntheosis, in their home-city of Tampere, Finland, the familiarity served a greater purpose towards the evolution of the album.

Speaking about the upcoming album, guitarist/vocalist Jun-His says, “we definitely wanted to look for new horizons, but on the other hand continue something we began building already on Värähtelijä. Some big influences were electro albums that inspired an idea about having a song that would travel through different kinds of portals whilst being mutilated and mutated by the new environment.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, you can view both the track list and the artwork for the upcoming album below:

Track List:

1. Ilmestys
2. Tyhjyyden Sakramentti
3. Uusi Teknokratia
4. Oikeamielisten Sali
5. Kuulen Ääniä Maan Alta
6. Taivaan Portti

Mestarin kynsi is set for release on April 17th via Nuclear Blast Records.
