Our Hollow, Our Home release new music video for ‘Downpour’

OUR HOLLOW, OUR HOME have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Downpour, is the brand new single from the Southampton metalcore band and follows on from their previous single, Battle X City, which was released in August last year. The new single marks the first new music to feature new vocalist Gaz King [ex-FROM SORROW TO SERENITY, NEXILVA].

Speaking about the new single, guitarist/vocalist and primary songwriter Tobias Young says, “I’m really proud to present our latest single, Downpour. This is the first release with the new line-up it heralds a new chapter and fresh sound for the band. For me, lyrically, Downpour is about life’s shifting dynamics. It speaks not only to my own personal experience with the changes in the band, but I believe it can resonate with anybody. Downpour is about overcoming your own fears and anxieties, staying true to yourself, and what is right for you as an individual.

Given everything that has happened, and the amount of change within the band, it was super important for us to bring something new to the table as soon as we could. As soon as we wrote Downpour, we knew this was the song to return with straight away. Downpour will be released as a stand-alone single, but rest assured, we’ve already been working very hard on our fourth album, which is sounding wild!

Musically I think this is the best the band has ever sounded. Collaborating with the insanely talented Sky Van Hoff [RAMMSTEIN/SLEEP TOKEN] has been a game-changer. He’s given our sound a modern twist while keeping our original vibe intact. which is something we wanted to set out to do from the start. I’m so excited for people to hear this new chapter of the band. I hope that those who have been with us for any length of time will still get behind us, and I’m looking forward to seeing some new faces along the way.”
