Our Hollow, Our Home release new music video for ‘Parting Gift’
OUR HOLLOW, OUR HOME have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track Parting Gift, is taken from the band’s latest album In Moment // In Memory which was released in October last year. All proceeds from digital sales of the single will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
“Parting Gift is probably as far away from a “standard” OUR HOLLOW, OUR HOME song as it could get, but I’d also argue it’s probably one of the most important songs we have ever written. Since releasing our album, In Moment // In Memory, the band and I have been enormously touched by the countless messages from our fans all over the world sharing their stories with us, and telling us how they found solace with the record and in particular this song,” says guitarist/vocalist Toby Young. “This Macmillan Coffee Morning, we release Parting Gift. All proceeds from digital sales of the single will go to Macmillan Cancer Support (today and any future sales). Their nurses were incredible to my father and my family in his final few weeks and they do not get anywhere near the support and recognition they deserve. This is our band trying to give a little something back. Every £29 raised can fund a Macmillan nurse for an hour, and that hour will make the world of difference to someone and their family. I lost my father to cancer, and this has been very difficult to deal with both in my own heart and for my family. Let’s do whatever we can to help find a cure for this devastating disease.”
