We here at Distorted Sound are delighted to share an extensive and stunning photo gallery of this year’s Burn It Down Festival!

Since its humble beginnings back in 2018, the festival set in Torquay, Devon has gone from strength to strength in achieving its goal to bring a host of wicked alternative music to the English southwest. Following a pandemic-enforced break, akin to everyone else in the festival circuit, 2022 marks the grand return of the festival with a stacked lineup to boot.

Featuring a collection of bands across the entire spectrum of alternative and heavy music including CASSYETTE, YOURS TRULY, STATIC DRESS, SLOW CRUSH, TIGERCUB, AS DECEMBER FALLS, HARBINGER, VEXED, HAGGARD CAT, VUKOVI, TRASH BOAT, PUPIL SLICER, GRAPHIC NATURE and countless more; this year’s festival is an alt-music fan’s dream.

Not just this, but as a fiercely independent publication, the way in which Burn It Down propels emerging artists to the stage is something we truly admire and respect. Whether it is MODERN ERROR, DEATH GOALS, CAGE FIGHT, IOTA, GRIEF RITUAL, EL MOONO, DELILAH BON, HERIOT and more, this festival is not only catering to the wealth of emerging talent within our world, but they are putting it there for us to see as clear as day.
