PREMIERE: Being God – Runescarred

Distorted Sound is pleased to premiere the brand new single from RUNESCARRED!

Rising out of the ashes of Austin, Texas’ DEAD EARTH POLITICS and joining forces with the drummer of SOUTHERN FRONT, RUNESCARRED are making a mark on their regional scene and beyond. Following the release of their successful debut EP We Are this June, and their Halloween tribute to IRON MAIDEN‘s Moonchild, the band are back with a brand new single!

The track, titled Being God, is the brand new single from the Texas-based metallers and we here at Distorted Sound are pleased to give the track its official premiere.

Speaking about the new track, the band says, “Being God may at first seem like an idle boast but the track proves otherwise. The cocktail jazz and Bach-esque harpsichord breaks are a welcome diversion from the groove-laden riffing elsewhere in the tune. I am really proud of the song’s dynamics and arrangement and I hope everyone digs it as much as we do!”
