PREMIERE: Ill Minds Vol 2 – Black Coast

Distorted Sound is delighted to premiere the brand new EP from rising hardcore crew BLACK COAST!

Having turned heads last year with the release of their strong EP, Ill Minds Vol 1, now, the Stoke-on-Trent-based quintet are ready to return to the fray with their brand new effort; the aptly titled Ill Minds Vol 2 and we here at Distorted Sound are delighted to give the new EP its official premiere!

Speaking about the new EP, the band tells us, “Ill minds Vol.II means everything to us as a band, we’ve put so much hard work and hours of anger and pain into it. We started writing the EP as we were releasing Crows of the North. Originally we were going to put it out as our first full length record but instead, because of the concept behind the songs, we decided to do it as a two-part EP. The recording itself was done at Bandit Studios under the professional ear of Jonny Renshaw (DEVIL SOLD HIS SOUL). Two solid weeks of non stop recording and it was amazing to see the whole thing come together. Ill Minds Vol.II is written around a lot of personal turmoil we all have been through as a collective, whether it was during this period or previous. As you will hear in Charlie’s lyrics he is telling stories close to him and us, in hope that we connect with anyone who takes the time to listen to the record. We thank anyone who checks out the EP today and in the future.”
