Distorted Sound is pleased to premiere the brand new album from OAKHAART!
In recent years the UK has quickly became a hotbed for some of the most intriguing up and coming talents and continuing this trend is the emergence of progressive metallers OAKHAART. Since their success in the 2014 edition of Metal 2 the Masses, qualifying to play Bloodstock Open Air they have been studiously burning the midnight oil to put the finishing touches on their debut full length album Parallel To An Endless Dream. Distorted Sound are honoured to be able to bring you an exclusive stream! Hoping to build on their EP release back in 2013 the band combine technicality and progressive elements to form their own unique blend of melody and chaos.
Speaking about their debut release drummer and founding member Ollie Medlow says “we are very proud to be able to finally present our first full length album. We feel this album contains the erratic heavy elements of our EP, but generally offers more diversity and musical styles. This is also our first release with live drums as opposed to programmed drums. We are also hugely honoured to have our friend Conor McGouran, formerly of XERATH perform a solo on the album. We hope you enjoy!”
