PREMIERE: Thudding Stares – Cleaver

We here at Distorted Sound are proud to premiere the new music video from CLEAVER!

The new music video, for the track Thudding Stares, is taken from the French metallic hardcore band’s upcoming debut album, No More Must Crawl, which is scheduled to be released in May this year, via Klonosphere Records.

Inspired by American hardcore punk like CONVERGE, BOTCH and POISON THE WELL, the band intend to merge violent, heavy riffs, pounding drums and grinding vocals to craft a sound that is equally dark, oppressive, and intense.

Speaking about the new song, the band tells us, “Thudding Stares is an ode that talks about the darkest and harshest feelings of a sufferer during his long and violent battle against disease. It goes from fierce anger to wretched sorrow, because of the cruel stare of the others over the decline and the endless injustice’s feeling, always with the same words in the head: Nothing Will Ever Be The Same.”
