PREMIERE: Transcendence Through Death – Krv

We here at Distorted Sound are delighted to premiere the brand new song from KRV!

The new song, titled Transcendence Through Death, is taken from the emerging black metal project’s upcoming debut self-titled album which is scheduled to be released in April.

The new project was formed by Nicolas Zivkovich [FIEND, DDENT, TIGRES DU FUTUR] on vocals, with all instruments recorded by Louis Lambert [DDENT, NNRA]. On their upcoming self-titled debut album, the implacability of machines collide with a blistering black metal, which seminal coldness gets swept away by its mutant form, an orchestral and shape-shifting vision that shatters the genre’s codes through seven colossal tracks performed in English, French and Serbian.

Speaking of the song, bassist Nicolas Zivkovich tells us, “black metal has since its inception been a global movement. This track is in a way an homage to the arcane sounds of time past. The lyrics deal with ritual suicide. Whatever side of life and death you are in, your gods will see through you. You are less than nothing. You must kill and transcend the ego to be part of nature’s timelessness.”
