PREMIERE: Waiting Room For The Magic Hour – Sacri Monti
Distorted Sound is delighted to premiere the brand new album from SACRI MONTI!
After four long years since the release of their self-titled debut, during which these San Diego troopers have been out exploring and channelling their psychedelic riff-laden missives out into the world, the five-piece has united to deliver their brand new album Waiting Room For The Magic Hour.
Having gathered together inspirations, ideas and sections of tracks, much of the writing took place immediately before heading into the studio – and thriving on the pressure, further writing and reshaping happened in situ. Recorded during winter 2018/19 at Audio Design in their native San Diego, the band have relied less on free-wheelin’ jams and sonic layering opting instead to focus on solid, well constructed tunes. It’s a really solid effort and ahead of the album’s release this Friday, we are delighted to premiere the brand new album in its entirety!
Speaking about the album, guitarist Brenden Dellar tells us, “we will be playing the first 3/4 of the record every night across Europe and we are super excited to release it and share it with you all!”

Following the release of the new record this Friday, the band will return to Europe throughout the summer to promote their new release.
