Profanatica announce new album ‘Crux Simplex’

PROFANATICA have announced a new album!

Titled Crux Simplex, the upcoming album from the American black metal band is the follow-up to 2019’s Rotting Incarnation Of God, and is scheduled to be released in September this year, via Season Of Mist.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released the first single from the upcoming album; Take Up The Cross. Speaking about the new single, drummer/vocalist Paul Ledney says, Take Up The Cross is the second station of the cross. Jesus is forced by Roman’s to carry it, and it’s weight is that of 10,000 suns. As spikenard fills the air so does the very real scent of sweat and blood. This is the beginning of the days of stains and pain.”
