Public Opinion announce new album ‘The Curse Of Public Opinion’

PUBLIC OPINION have announced a brand new album!

The Denver, Colorado punk band have confirmed their upcoming sophomore album The Curse Of Public Opinion, which is set for release on August 7th, 2026 via SideOneDummy.

Recorded with Brett Romnes [ANXIOUS, I AM THE AVALANCHE, HOT MULLIGAN], The Curse Of Public Opinion blends 2000s garage rock swagger, classic punk hooks and hardcore ferocity, delivering a run of defiant anthems rooted in frustration, venting and existential disappointment.

Speaking on the band’s approach, vocalist Kevin Hart explains, “a lot of bands make music about feeling bad but they’re so dialed‑in. I think our message is a little more messy, but a lot more human. At the end of the day I’m kind of a quiet, angry guy. I don’t explode, I implode. So when it comes to the songs I don’t try to stop all that from coming through.”

Alongside the announcement, PUBLIC OPINION have released the album’s opening track Balloon Man Running, a raw and raucous blast of primal rock & roll energy. The track arrives with an official music video.
