Red Method announce new EP ‘As In Life’

RED METHOD have announced a brand new EP!

The London-based metal outfit will release their new EP As In Life on July 17th. The forthcoming EP marks the band’s first new release since 2020’s For The Sick….

Alongside the announcement, the band have released a new music video for Counting Corpses, the latest single to be released from the upcoming EP, following on from Becoming The Sickness and All For One, None For All.

Speaking about the new single, the band comments, “the lyrics were formed from the idea that a Chaos God had been pushed aside by humanity had broken free to see what his world had become, feeding off the hatred humanity had created. They saw that selfishness and greed is what truly ruled modern day, so the only way to recover the world was to remove the very disease that is humanity.

It’s not about the creature; the creature is just the symbol of destruction, but the message portrayed is that humanity is a virus and must be purged. To make it more coherent and philosophical, the idea got more and more grandiose the more we expanded on the concept of just a mere creature.”
