Royal Republic announce new album ‘LoveCop’
ROYAL REPUBLIC have announced a new album!
Titled LoveCop, the upcoming album from the Swedish hard rock band is the long-awaited follow-up to 2019’s Club Majesty, and is scheduled to be released in June this year, via Odyssey Music.
Produced by Adam Grahn and Michael Ilbert at the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin, LoveCop is the band’s fifth studio album and intends to see them at their most bold, brazen and brilliant.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; the title track LoveCop. Speaking about the new song, the band says, “this one is here to inform all the love-abiding citizens that you’re basically free to do whatever the fuck you want. If that’s not enough to make you wanna take off your clothes and dance, you are hereby charged with two counts of being a drag. LoveCop says you have the right to remain loud! You have the right to remain wicked. So put your hands behind your head… and dance!”
