Ruff Majik release new song ‘Cement Brain’
RUFF MAJIK have released a new song!
Titled Cement Brain, it is the latest single to be released from the South African rock ‘n’ roll band’s upcoming new album Elektrik Ram, which is scheduled to be released in April this year via Mongrel Records.
Speaking about the new song, vocalist Johni Holiday explains, “On the surface, it’s about escaping an abusive relationship. But deep down, the relationship in question is my relationship with substances such as alcohol The song pleads with the listener to not let me go back.”

Elektrik Ram was written and recorded between 2020 and 2022 after Johni Holiday found himself in and out of mental health and recovery facilities, struggling with severe agoraphobia and substance dependence brought on by PTSD.
