Saint Agnes announce new mini-album ‘Vampire’

SAINT AGNES have announced a new mini-album!

Titled Vampire, the upcoming mini-album from the London-based band is scheduled to be released in March this year, via Glory Gang Records.

The upcoming was born out of the band’s unstoppable creative ingenuity that inspired the creation of The Quarantine Diaries – a twisted collection of cover songs with accompanying vignette-videos filmed on an iPhone in their east London flat during early lockdown. Physical copies of the mini-album will feature ‘psalms’ – a series of crafted musical interludes that weave around the album, expanding and enriching the themes as they play out.

Alongside the announcement of the new mini-album, the band have released a new music video for the first song to be lifted from the upcoming release; Repent. Speaking about the new song, vocalist/guitarist Kitty A Austen says, Repent is a song born of rage. It’s the story of a fallen angel hell bent on revenge and retribution, and was inspired by being sick to death of people in positions of power getting away with nasty shit again and again and again. I think most people feel it, you look around and it seems like the ‘bad guy’ is always winning so the song is a blood-thirsty revenge fantasy about righting injustice.”
