Sarah Longfield releases new song ‘Citrine’
Sarah Longfield has released a brand new song!
The song, titled Citrine, is taken from the American multi-instrumentalist’s upcoming album Disparity, which is scheduled for release in November.
Speaking about the track, Sarah Longfield says, “Citrine was one of my favorite tracks to write, but I was initially unsure about including it in the album. It’s very light hearted and vibes hard, but it isn’t heavy at all and I was worried the contrast between songs on the record would be too drastic. Looking at it now I’m really happy it’s so diverse! It represents the extremes of the past year well and that’s what this album is all about, creating and documenting my reality.”

Speaking about the upcoming album, Longfield says, “I’ve been fortunate in my musical endeavors to see lots of beautiful places and experience many incredible, but also occasionally strange and dark things. The contrast has been truly inspiring and this album is documentation of that. Thus, there are many different moods throughout the record. I’m really excited about getting to perform such a varied record live!”
