SAVE US announce debut album ‘Death To Something’
SAVE US have announced a brand new album!
The upcoming release, titled Death To Something, is the debut full-length album from the transcontinental metalcore trio and is scheduled to be released on October 16th via Solid State Records. The record, produced by Landon Tewers (THE PLOT IN YOU), marks the band’s first full-length effort following their EP releases LUCID and EXIST.
Alongside the announcement, the band have released the new single Death To Something, which arrives with an accompanying music video. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from last year’s Bruised.
Speaking about the new track, vocalist Miguel Owls shares, “Death To Something was the last song we wrote with Landon, and it ended up giving the record its name. Lyrically, it was inspired by my newborn son. The message is simple but powerful: Sometimes there has to be a death to your old life in order to build a better one for the people you love. On this track, I dive into the struggles and hardships of my past, and how I had to finally cut the ties that kept weighing me down. It’s raw, personal, and honestly one of the most meaningful songs I’ve ever written.”
