Schandmaul announce new album ‘Sternensegler’
SCHANDMAUL have announced a brand new album!
The upcoming release, titled Sternensegler, is the latest full-length album from the German folk rock band and is scheduled to be released on September 11th, 2026 via Napalm Records. The record marks the band’s first with new vocalist Till Herence and follows 2022’s Knüppel aus dem Sack and features previously released single In der Hand.
The new album represents a fresh chapter for the band following vocalist Thomas Lindner stepping back from fronting duties in 2024, while remaining an active member on instruments, with Till Herence now leading the band. Speaking about the album, the band shares, “our Sternensegler rises powerfully like a phoenix from the ashes—and that same strength is reflected in these new songs. They symbolize rebirth and are a sign of unity and friendship. That’s how you deal with setbacks. Giving up was never an option for us. Let’s look ahead and set sail for new horizons!”
