Shallow Pools release new music video for ‘Golden’
SHALLOW POOLS have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track Golden, is taken from the Boston-based indie pop band’s upcoming debut album, I Think About It All The Time, which is scheduled to be released in October this year, via Equal Vision Records.
Speaking about the new song, the band says, “living in the moment is hard when you know that the ending is inevitable. We’ve all experienced the feeling of being stuck between happiness and existential dread, and we wanted to convey that feeling in Golden.”

The upcoming debut album was recorded at Reclaim Studios in Thompson, CT with Chris Curran and features songs co-written with LGBTQIA+ icon Lynn Gunn of PVRIS and Cameron Walker-Wright of TWIN XL and THE READY SET. “I feel like we always want to make some kind of statement,” says vocalist Glynnis Brennan, “and we wanted to write something that basically said ‘Fuck the haters’. As members of the LGBQIA+ community, this just feels really important to us.”
