SikTh announce masterclass

SIKTH have announced a very special masterclass!

Set for September 17th at the Boston Music Rooms in London, the UK’s progressive metal pioneers will offer a very special masterclass which will coincide with their upcoming UK tour throughout September.

Fans will have the opportunity to gain an insight in the writing and recording process behind albums such as Death Of A Dead Day, looking at the inspiration behind these records and hearing interesting facts and tales from these sessions that they’ve never heard before. There will also be an opportunity to ask the band questions direct in a Q&A session, watch a run down of the gear and equipment the band use, alongside instrumental performances of tracks from their back catalogue. SIKTH will also talk in-depth about their comeback, which began with a surprise reunion at Download Festival in 2014 followed by Opacities EP a year later.

Speaking about the upcoming masterclass, guitarist Dan Weller says, “we have been making music together since the turn of the century. Before MySpace, Facebook, Spotify, YouTube changed the way music was consumed. In this masterclass we’ll talk about how it all began for SIKTH, how the band has evolved and let people in on some of the secrets and tricks that go into creating our music.”

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
