Silent Planet release music video for ‘Visible Unseen’
SILENT PLANET have released a brand new music video!
The video, for the track Visible Unseen, is taken from the California band’s latest album When The End Began, which was released last week.
Speaking about the track, vocalist Garrett Russell says, “Visible Unseen is about the epidemic of homeless LGBTQ youth — a statistically observable phenomenon where disproportionate numbers of LGBT youth are homeless in America.The song was inspired by heartbreaking conversations I’ve had at shows, hearing the pain of kids who have been abandoned by families and shunned by communities, simply because they don’t fit a traditional paradigm of sexuality. I call these youths the ‘Visible Unseen‘ because this is a phenomenon that is happening around us, but often goes overlooked. So this is an anthem for them, and a challenge for us, to recognise an often-isolated, needing group of young people in our society.”

The band are also embarking on their UK and European headline tour this month, with support coming from ACRES and COMRADES.
Speaking about the tour, Garrett Russell says, “our first time in Europe was a handful of DIY shows that ranged from living rooms in Turin to black metal basements in Bratislava. It’s exciting to announce our first EU/UK headlining tour, because we honestly don’t know what to expect. We love the eclectic cultures that comprise Europe, and feel consider that these shows with ACRES (UK) and COMRADES (USA) will be something special. Each band really brings a different sound to the stage, and it should all come together to be a fun mix of genre”
