South Arcade release new song ‘DEADMEAT’

SOUTH ARCADE have released a new single!

The UK-based alternative four-piece have unveiled DEADMEAT, marking their latest new music following the success of previous single SUPERMAN, which became the band’s biggest streaming debut to date.

Speaking on the new single, the band states, “we went into writing wanting to tell a sort of modern Romeo and Juliet story (but with a less depressing ending), and we left with DEADMEAT. It has this reckless optimism about it where the two characters’ worlds shouldn’t really overlap but they’ve found each other regardless – they want to escape all of that noise, steal a car and leave town. It had this ‘us against the world’ energy that we loved.”

The new single arrives ahead of a busy summer schedule that includes appearances at Download Festival, Rock For People, and TRNSMT, alongside US dates on the Idobi Summer School tour and Vans Warped Tour. The band have also recently announced their biggest headline show to date, set to take place at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on February 25th, 2027, with limited tickets remaining.
