Sum 41 announce new, and final, album ‘Heaven :x: Hell’

SUM 41 have announced a new album!

Titled Heaven :x: Hell, the upcoming album from the Canadian rock band is the follow-up to 2019’s Order In Decline, and is scheduled to be released in March next year, via Rise Records. The upcoming album will be the band’s last record before they breakup.

Speaking about the upcoming album, vocalist Deryck Whibley says, “once I heard the music, I was confident enough to say, ‘this is the record I’d like to go out on’. We’ve made a double album of pop-punk and metal, and it makes sense. It took a long time for us to pave this lane for ourselves, but we did, and it’s unique to us.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, SUM 41 have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Rise Up. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Landmines, which was released back in October.

Speaking about the new song, Whibley says, “writing Rise Up, I felt the way I did when I first got signed. I felt the pressure and the need to create something great, but I felt so excited at the same time.
