Sum 41 release new music video for ‘A Death In The Family’

SUM 41 have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track A Death In The Family, is taken from the band’s upcoming new album Order In Decline, which is scheduled to be released in July.

Frontman Deryck Whibley delivers a warning that all bad things must come to an end. Through a balance of in your face riffs and a soaring chorus, lyrics like “Your lies will tear you apart…Your fate is left to a different generation. You know they won’t be kind” echo throughout the track.

Speaking about the album, frontman Deryck Whibley says, “the last thing I wanted to do was write a social or political protest record, and Order In Decline is not that.” Instead, Order and Decline is a burst of uninhibited feeling, a page out of his journal, a window into his soul that reflects on extremely personal and vulnerable events, because as he confesses, “it’s also very hard not to have feelings about everything that’s going on in the world.”

Order In Decline is set for release on July 19th via Hopeless Records.
