Takida announce new album ‘The Agony Flame’

TAKIDA have announced a new album!

Titled The Agony Flame, the upcoming album from the Swedish rock band is the follow-up to 2021’s Falling From Fame, and is scheduled to be released in February next year, via Napalm Records.

Speaking about the upcoming album, the band says, “The Agony Flame is our ‘now or never’ album and you’re free to interpret that however you want. Hope you’ll like it.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new song from the upcoming album; Third Strike. The new song is the third single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Your Blood Awaits You and The Loneliest Hour.

Speaking about the new song, the band says, “Third Strike is about self-sabotage. The main character, however hard they try to be the person they want to be, to do good, to be successful, they will always lose the battle with the voices in their head.”
