The Gaslight Anthem announce The ’59 Sound UK tour

After the announcement of ending their three-year hiatus and doing a 10th anniversary tour of their much loved album, The ’59 Sound, THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM have announced dates for a UK/Ireland tour!

Get the dates below:

July 20 – London, UK – Eventim Apollo Hammersmith (w/ The Flatliners, Matthew Ryan)

July 23 – Dublin, IR – Vicar Street (w/ The Flatliners, Matthew Ryan)

July 24 – Glasgow, UK – Barrowland (w/ The Flatliners, Matthew Ryan)

July 25 – Manchester, UK – Eventim Apollo (w/ The Flatliners, Matthew Ryan)

In 2015, the band decided to take a hiatus to “recharge and take a step back until we have something we feel excited about rather than going right back to making a record just for the sake of making the next record.” Earlier this month however, they decided to come back for a 10th anniversary tour of their loved album. THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM will be playing The ’59 Sound in full.

Released by SideOneDummy Records in 2008, The ’59 Sound saw THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM break out to the top and steal the hearts of many. Their soulful punk rock sound reminisced on the old school American rock ‘n’ roll, reviews on the album were beaming and songs like Great Expectations and title track proved that the band were heading in the right direction.
