The King Blues release new track ‘Nike Town’
THE KING BLUES have released a brand new song!
The new song, titled Nike Town, is taken from the band’s upcoming album The Gospel Youth which is scheduled to be released in mid April. Speaking about the upcoming record, vocalist Itch says, “we had a lot of fun making this record. Even though we were dealing with some emotional topics and doing a lot of soul searching and going deep, it was a really enjoyable, therapeutic and creative experience. We didn’t know what was going to come out but it became obvious pretty quickly that it wasn’t going to be 15 songs about Donald Trump. I just wasn’t in that place. I was going through some huge changes and just trying to figure things out for myself. And I don’t want to be one of those bands that’s out there shouting slogans when I don’t even know how I feel about myself. So it soon became obvious that this was going to be a deeply personal record, and once I accepted that I had to be brutally honest it all started flowing out.”
