The Menzingers release new music video for ‘America (You’re Freaking Me Out)’

THE MENZINGERS have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track America (You’re Freaking Me Out), is taken from the band’s upcoming new album Hello Exile which is scheduled to be released in October this year.

The new music video was directed by Rob McConnaughy (whose previous work includes I Don’t Wanna Be An Asshole Anymore off the band’s 2014 release Rented World), the video features an alien life-form traveling across the United States, freaked out by the current political climate.

“We’re living in a pretty insane time, where all you can think about every single day is ‘What the hell is going on with this country?’”says vocalist Greg Barnett. “But as I was writing that song I realized that it’s kind of always freaked me out, especially coming-of-age during the Iraq War. I love so much about America, but I think you can’t deny that there are some people in power who are absolutely evil.”

Hello Exile is set for release on October 4th via Epitaph Records.
