The Wonder Years announce new album ‘The Hum Goes On Forever’

THE WONDER YEARS have announced a new album!

Titled The Hum Goes On Forever, the upcoming album from the Philadelphia-based pop-punk band is the follow-up to 2018’s Sister Cities and is scheduled to be released in September this year via Hopeless Records.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a music video for its latest single Wyatt’s Song (Your Name), which follows previous singles Oldest Daughter and Summer Clothes.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist Dan Campbell says, “It’s about the polarising forces of love and anxiety that come with being a new parent—simultaneously being so overjoyed that they’re here, about the miraculous nature of their existence, but afraid of all the ways you could fail them. It’s about raising children in a world that feels like it’s actively ending and how to make them feel safe and cared for despite that. It tries to breathe in the small, beautiful moments and exhale all of the invasive thoughts of despair.”
