Three more acts announced for Bloodstock Festival 2016
Three more acts have been added to the bill for this year’s Bloodstock Festival!
PHIL CAMPBELL’S ALL-STARR BAND are set to headline the Sophie Lancaster Stage on Thursday 11th August. Campbell will also officially be opening the newly-christened Lemmy’s Bar, in honour of his former bandmate. The axeman’s solo project last graced the Bloodstock stage in 2013 with a performance on the Jagermeister Stage.
Also added to the lineup of the Sophie Lancaster Stage are London doom-metal collective WITCHSORROW and East Anglia extreme-metal crew THE KING IS BLIND.
“The Bloodstock crowd welcomed us with open arms and raised fists on our last visit”, said THE KING IS BLIND frontman Stephen Tovey, “So on the back of ‘Our Father’, we’re primed and chomping at the bit to bring a savage and energetic set of the heaviest metal to Catton Hall this August. You bring the beers, the horns and the headbanging, we’ll bring the riffs and the truly crushing metal.”
Bloodstock Festival 2016 will take place 11th-14th August at Catton Park, Walton-on-Trent, Derbyshire. Tickets are on-sale now and can be purchased here
