Timelost announce new album ‘Drained’

TIMELOST have announced a new album!

Titled Drained, the upcoming album from the Philadelphia-based ‘grungegaze’ band is the follow-up to 2021’s Gushing Interest, and is scheduled to be released in February next year, via Church Road Records.

The upcoming album was recorded and mixed by the skilled hands of fellow Philadelphian Scoops Dardaris [known for his work with PRINCE DADDY & THE HYENA, THEY ARE GUTTING A BODY OF WATER, ANOTHER MICHAEL] and intends to boast a rich and dynamic production that brings the band’s sound to new heights. The album was mastered by Matt Poirier, a luminary in the field whose portfolio includes THE WAR ON DRUGS, THE NATIONAL and CLAP YOUR HANDS SAY YEAH.

Speaking about the upcoming album, guitarist/vocalist Shane says, “Drained is about the continuous beating of life. The state of the world, personal responsibilities, socializing, being in a band, all of it just being exhausting and wanting to burn it down or run away. We originally wrote seven songs and it felt tired and too similar to our previous stuff, so we dropped almost all of them and started new. We leaned into a more simple and fun approach to songwriting and ended up writing 18 songs over two+ years. Drained is the best 10.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, TIMELOST have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Eternal Vibe. Speaking about the new song, Shane says, “Eternal Vibe is about not giving a fuck about anyone’s opinion anymore. Take your negativity elsewhere because I will not be listening.”
