Top 10 Bands To See at UK Tech-Fest 2018 by From Sorrow To Serenity

Festival season is in full swing and we here at Distorted Sound are so excited for the coming months and always a favourite on our calendar is UK Tech-Fest. Year in, year out the catered festival delivers a stellar lineup jam-packed full of the best progressive and forward-thinking bands! With this year’s festival on the horizon, and boasting a rather splendid lineup at that, we have turned to some of the bands performing at this year’s festival to tell us who they are most excited for. Here, we turn to Glaswegian metallers FROM SORROW TO SERENITY, who arrive at UK Tech-Fest on the back of signing with prestigious label Long Branch Records, for their picks on who to see at this year’s festival. Take it away guys!

JINJER

Toured with them last year, can’t wait to hang out again and hear some riffs!

NEXILVA

It will be nice to see how our old friends have progressed! Gaz is excited in particular, as a former member.

THE ACACIA STRAIN

A particular favourite of Andy‘s!

CRYSTAL LAKE

Gaz has been listening to them a lot – it will be great to see how the music translates to a live setting!

TIDES FROM NEBULA

Ian saw them a few years back with AFTER THE BURIAL, atmospheric vibes. Great live band!

HEART OF A COWARD

Fresh off a UK tour with these guys. Already stoked to see them again!

BETRAYING THE MARTYRS

Toured Europe with for 35 days with this lot earlier in the year. Always sick to hang with, and put on a great live show!

EMPLOYED TO SERVE

Andy saw them in Glasgow a while back and thoroughly enjoyed their set.

BLEED FROM WITHIN

Steven‘s other band and fellow Scots!

MARTYR DEFILED

One last time. Will be bittersweet – as we’re glad to be present for their send-off, but sad to be sending them off at the same time. One to remember for sure!
