Top 5 songs Neshiima can’t wait to hear at Download Festival

We all head to a show and hope a band we’re going to see will play one of our favourite songs and with Download Festival kicking off this week, we caught up with rising talent NESHIIMA to find out what songs they’re most looking forward to hearing at the festival from some of their favourite bands. Check them out below!

Ross Cloughley [guitars]: Jambi – TOOL

“This song boggles my mind, the groove and complexity of polyrhythms throughout. Plus that bass tone just grinds through everything! This song has also been stapled to my playlists since I first heard it back in 2011. I’ve still never seen live TOOL and cannot wait to witness the masters at download!”

Danny Cameron [drums]: Pisces – JINJER

“I’ve been listening to this band almost daily since hearing this song last year. Incredible band, crazy voice. Can’t wait to see them live!”

Craig Rankin [bass]: Learn to Live – BAD WOLVES

“Not much to say other than its a screamer of a song. End of.”

Liam Hesslewood [vocals]: Pour Some Sugar On Me – DEF LEPPARD

“This song is a God tier belter that I will always get my rock groove on for.”

NESHIIMA pick: My Hero – MAN WITH A MISSION

“We supported the guys in Glasgow last year. Not only were they really nice guys, their crew were awesome to work with and they have one of the best live shows we’ve seen in a while! Do not miss the guys with the big wolf heads!”

NESHIIMA – Here Forever (Feat. Renny Carroll)

“We’d be daft not to include one of our own songs and plug the fact that Renny Carroll will be performing this live with us for just the second time ever… at Download Festival. Even though we will be the ones ON the stage, we can’t wait for this moment.”

Download Festival takes place from June 14-16th. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
